A murder inquiry has been launched after the body of a missing teenage girl was found in a car
police tried to stop with a stinger device.
Chanelle Sasha Jones, 17, from Cardigan, was found in a Ford Fiesta which crashed into a parked van
on the A487 between Aberaeron and Aberarth.
She had been reported missing hours earlier on Sunday.
The teenager's mother paid tribute to her "beautiful daughter" whom she said had been through "so
much" in her life.
A post mortem examination is yet to be carried out on Chanelle, who was known to her friends as
Sasha.
Chanelle's mother Jayne said: "She has been through so much in her short life and I was, and we all
are, so proud of how she was turning her life around for the better and she now had so many
ambitions.
"She was my lovely daughter who will be so sadly missed by her sister and two brothers and all her
family and her boyfriend Brian.
"We all love you and miss you darling babe

Our sasha was such an intelligant young girl, who was loved by so many people.
She was so young and so pretty and had her whole life ahead off her, she also had so many ambitionz && dreams, 1 of which was to be a model, which as we all knew she had the figure && personality 4.
No matter what sasha always had a smile on her face, aswell as a great sense off humour, at only 17 yrz old she got tooken away from us due too a set off horrific circumstances, she was such a great gurl, never got too live her life the way she wanted too after just starting 2 turn her life around for the better.
She has great friendz, loving familyy, an a modelling career 4 wen she hit 18, it's stil hard now to take in that she is no longer here, what an outstanding gurl, who wil always be in are hearts n never forgotten
